The landscape of the Atacama desert has a long history of being altered by humans due to the region's abundant natural resources such as lithium, copper, gold and iron ore.
Jamey Stillings is a photographer based in Santa Fe, NM. Jamey’s photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally. His work is in the permanent collection of the United States Library of Congress Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Los Angeles County Museum of Art Nevada Museum of Art, and Center for Art + Environment Archive Collection among others.
