PRAIRIELAND PROCESS STATEMENT
All of my work is now shot digitally. I use a Hasselblad H3 medium-format camera coupled with a high-resolution Imacon Ixpress 39MB digital back. Images are then imported into Photoshop CS2 where I composite several light to dark bracketed exposures to create a single image. There are no tricks here, I'm just creating the perfect digital printing file with the longest tonal range possible with the most accurate color correction. Completed files are then outputted on Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk archival digital printing paper using an Epson Stylus Pro 7800 printer, Ultrachrome K3 pigment inks, driven with the ImagePrint RIP's custom color icc profiles. I prefer this method over traditional type-c prints due to the images actually being sharper and having more image stability over the longrun. Sounds crazy, but true.
