Tony Bonanno

Tony Bonanno is a professional photographer based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Tony’s specialties are the fine art market, event & assignment photography, architecture & interiors, and travel & documentary work. He enjoys teaching and mentoring other photographers and is an instructor at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. Tony grew up in Washington, DC, but soon left the city for more rural landscapes. He spent many years working in isolated and remote areas managing and protecting public lands prior to becoming a full time photographer. Tony has served as the official photographer for numerous political figures including former Governors Bill Richardson and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He photographed the President of the United States and First Lady for Intel Corporation. In 2005, Tony was selected as a New Mexico Heart Gallery photographer. His fine art work is targeted towards collectors and the corporate environment. His photography has been featured in numerous galleries throughout the US and Mexico. He was the recipient of the prestigious Leo Diehl Award at the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, Massachusetts and was the feature artist at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History (1990-91). Tony maintains a state of the art digital imaging studio in Santa Fe. He served on the Board of Directors of the New Mexico chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers from 2002 through 2010. He is a member of the Stock Artists Alliance, Editorial Photographers, the Society for Photographic Education (SPE), a Business Partner of the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, and a member of both Canon Professional Services and Nikon Professional Services.
