Sipke Visser

Sipke Visser grew up in the north of the Netherlands, lived in Amsterdam for a while and then moved to London in 2005. The running theme in Visser's work are the people around him. He aims to photograph those intimate moments when people are immersed in themselves or with each other. Often he finds ways to get strangers to participate with or comment on his photography - notably in 'Return to Sender', a project for which he sent his photographs to random strangers, asking them to reply in one way or another.
