Maxwell Anderson

Maxwell Anderson is a photographer born and raised in London, UK. His work focuses predominantly on what he sees and experiences in his everyday life, exploring his relationships with people, objects and landscapes. He graduated from the University of Arts, London in 2009 and has since received awards for his work including the Magenta Foundation Flash Forward Award and Fresh Faced & Wild Eyed. As well as making his own artwork and publications, he also produces books for other artists under the publishing imprint Bemojake. Anderson's first solo exhibition was in Tokyo, 2011. He has also exhibited work in group shows such as the Belfast Photo Festival 2013, The World In London at the Photographers' Gallery, and The Warte Fur Kunst's annual WeihnachtsWarte. His first book, See You Soon, 2010 was included in The Guardian and Photo-Eye's best book of the year selections. He is currently working on his latest book, Stop Making Sense.
