Edward Grazda, born in Queens, New York, earned his BFA from RISD in 1969. His photography spans the USA, Latin America, and Asia, with notable books including Afghanistan Diary, NY Masjid: The Mosques of New York, Mean Streets: NYC 1970-1985, and Asia Calling: A Photographer's Notebook 1980-1997. His work is in major collections such as MoMA, The Met, and SFMOMA. Grazda has taught at Harvard, The Boston Museum School, and the International Center of Photography. He lives in Chilmark, MA, and Providence, RI.
