Twana's Box — Rawsht Twana. Published by Fraglich Publishing.
Twana Abdullah Wasim died in 1992, in dubious circumstances. Fourteen years later, his son Rawshit Twana discovered a box of his photographs, all made during tumultuous times in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The result is Twana's Box, a beautifully designed and produced book that offers a rare glimpse into a unique time and place. The book reads as both an archival study and a personal journey, offering incredible insight into the people and places represented as well as a son's quest to know his father.
