Daniel Boetker-Smith's Favorite Books of 2023

The Public Life of Women — A Feminist Memory Project.   Published by Photo.Circle/Nepal Picture Library.

This bringing together of the years of work by the Nepal Picture Library is timely, vital and epic. Emerging from an exhibition of the same name (curated by Diwas Raja Kc and NayanTara Gurung Kakshapati), the breadth and depth of research and inclusion in this catalogue makes it essential reading for all those interested in the ways images reflect our world back to us.
