Tarrah Krajnak's El Jardín de Senderos Que Se Bifurcan brings together the artist's own writing and photography, found vernacular photographs, appropriated images — all woven together as a multi-layered exploration of identity, family, history, memory, violence, and belonging. I still recall the impression that an early hand-made iteration of this work made on me when I first saw it a few years ago and the limited-edition release of Krajnak's first book is a powerful, complex, and emotional journey that I would recommend taking.
