Tamara Shopsin's favorite book from 2018

Der Greif asks photographers to submit their photos with the caveat that an editor can use the images any which way. It seems batshit crazy and brave to let someone run wild with your photos, but I’m glad they did. The images Fulford selected are funny and beautiful. The book is tied together with text from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, creating strange and transcendent moments.
