2018 has been a difficult year, not just for me personally, but it seems, for the whole world. When I encountered this book at the New York Art Book Fair in September, it immediately made me feel happy, and meeting and talking with its exceptional designer, Sébastien Girard, only intensified the effect. The pictures are pure joy, and the design and production make me want to go back to making books by hand again. This is not a heavy book, literally or figuratively, and it is the only book I carried home with me that day.
