For me, essayist, philosopher and literary naturalist Loren Eiseley said it best in his writing,
"Nothing is lost,
but it can never be again
as it was".
I think the best stories are
about loss and the impermanence
that surrounds our everyday.
I like to make use of the full spectrum in photography. From large format camera
to digital, film to wet plate, conventional silver gelatin papers and films and Epson printers. Boredom or curiosity with a
certain technique or process will often lead to experimentation and a merging of
old and new practices.
