Amami, published by Snoeck. Janssen has become well known for her work blending exquisite portraits of children with contemplative views of the broader landscapes they inhabit.
Amami presents more than 100 photographs taken on Amami-Oshima, a semi-tropical island in the Ryukyu Archipelago, south of the Japanese mainland. The blend of works here is extremely refined, the gentle landscapes and telling portraits sequenced together to create a stunning, hopeful outlook. Published in an edition of just 1000 copies, this beautiful monograph is now in stock.
