Just arrived at our warehouse,
Road Ends in Water the first monograph from photographer Eliot Dudik. Dudik, who received an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design this year, presents an ambitious body of large-format documentary photographs taken throughout the rural South Carolina coastline along US Route 17. Virtually unchanged since its construction in 1926, US Route 17 is now undergoing major redevelopment to accommodate higher volumes of traffic, commerce and tourism. Dudik presents this sensitive collection of thoughts and images as a tribute to the South Carolina "lowlands," before the rapid changes prefaced by new asphalt. Copies now in stock.
Forthcoming from seminal publisher Twin Palms,
For Now, a monograph of previously unseen photographs from the archives of the legendary William Eggleston, selected and edited by Michael Almereyda, the filmmaker behind
William Eggleston in the Real World. The product of a year Almereyda spent pouring through the Eggleston archives,
For Now emphasizes Eggleston's family and friends, and includes 87 works spanning several decades. It's entirely possible that
For Now could prove yet another revelation on the master's work, especially if Twin Palms past publications
2-1/4 and
5x7 are any indication. Copies now available for preorder.
