The Beautiful Cliche
Renato D'Agostin's new monograph The Beautiful Cliché: Venezia takes the viewer on a journey to the city's most well known architectural sites. Through abstracted forms and grainy street scenes, the photographer displays a unique viewpoint of a city that has been widely photographed. D'Agostin's vision is a dream-like venture, utilizing negative space and blurry obstructions that further the artist's engaging portrayal. Signed copies are now in stock and available for order.

The Altogether
'The Altogether is inspired by manufacturing and the manual workers who make and produce, craftsman who are skilled and work with their hands,' says Chris Coekin of his latest journey through English working class culture.

Part of that craftsmanship is found in the book itself. Every detail is thought out and included so it connects into a narrative whole. First off, the book comes with a foil-blocked embossed cover of a man pulling on a rope. It's chalk white against coal black cloth, a touch-and-feel introduction to a book in which tactile, visual and auditory combine to perfect effect." — from Colin Pantall's review of The Altogether on photo-eye Magazine. Signed copies are now in stock and available for order.

Antonia's Garden by Marisa Portolese is a seductive series of staged family portraits, landscapes and still-lifes. While implicating the fragility of life and family dynamics, these photographs weave together a beautiful series that speak to universal themes of loss and isolation. This series also displays an underlying sense of curiosity and resilience that makes for a powerful body of work. Signed copies are arriving soon and are available for preorder.

Published by Photolucida, Watershed by Jeff Rich brings together a stunning series of photographs depicting the bridges, factories, landscape and people surrounding The French Broad River of North Carolina and Tennessee. Previously known for its fresh fish and clean water, this waterway has since become polluted like so many others in the American landscape. Here, Rich focuses on the environmental impact of the steel mills and industrial neglect bringing together a project that reminds the viewer of the importance of conscious sustainability. Signed copies are arriving soon and are available for preorder.
