Just arrived, signed copies of Cabin and Woods by American photographer Coley Brown and Italian photographer Cristiano Guerri, published by 0_100 Editions in Milan. The publication is comprised of two books, one by each collaborator, wrapped with a belly band. Though separate bodies of work, they have an astounding resonance with one another. Shot throughout the USA and Europe, they feel perfectly paired in their presentation of woodland scenes featuring an often incongruous human presence. Signed copies of this stunning new publication are now available to order.
Also now in stock, Sechsundzwanzig Wiener Tankstellen from Austrian photographer Stefan Oláh, published by Roma in Italy. Inspired by Twenty-Six Gasoline Stations, Ed Ruscha's seminal first artist book, published in 1963, Sechsundzwanzig Wiener Tankstellen translates to Twenty-six Viennese Gasoline Stations, though technically the color section presents 34 different stations, Oláh has produced a fascinating study of the original works — the cover image depicts a BP station with (almost unbelievably) a large print of Ruscha's own iconic Standard Oil Station painting above it. Texts include a dialogue with Ed Ruscha about his original publication. This fascinating publication is now in stock and available to order.
Please note that adding a book to your shopping cart does not reserve a copy; orders must be finalized to appear in our system. However, due to the extremely limited number of some books, we cannot guarantee a copy for every finalized order. New Arrivals and Back-in-Stock items were in stock at the time that this newsletter was sent. Orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis until sold-out.
